Account & Data Deletion

Effective date: July 4, 2026

lifeGmap users may request deletion of their account and related data at any time. This notice explains how to delete and what is deleted or retained.

Delete in the app

You can delete your account in the lifeGmap app:

  • Settings → Account → Delete account
  • Follow the prompts to confirm, and deletion begins.

Request via the web (no app required)

If you can’t use the app, request deletion on our web page (lifegmap.com/account-deletion) using your registered email. Once you confirm via the link in the verification email, your request is queued.

If you can’t use the page, you can also email jh.shin@lifegmap.com from your registered address with the subject "Account deletion request."

We complete deletion and reply within a reasonable number of business days from receipt.

Data that is deleted (immediately)

  • Identifiers such as email, name, and phone number
  • Social login (Google, Apple) linkage identifiers
  • Push notification token
  • Free-text from Ara (AI) conversations
  • Raw GPS coordinates

Data that may be retained (anonymized)

For service improvement and research, the Company may retain anonymized data that can no longer identify an individual (for example, heart-rate-zone, pace, and recovery metrics with identifiers removed). This data is retained without any reverse-mapping for re-identification.

Because original Apple Health (HealthKit) and Android Health Connect data is owned by your device and OS, the Company deletes only the server-side copy. You can manage the original on your device through each operating system’s Health app.
